Nathan Fillion is working on a pilot for the new ABC TV show “Castle”. Castle is a witty “comedic procedural” based on a famous mystery novelist (Nathan Fillion) who helps the NYPD homicide department solve crimes. The female lead, a “pretty, brassy detective” is yet to be cast.

Castle is directed by Rob Bowman whose credits include Day Break, Night Stalker and X-Files and is produced by Andrew Marlowe, Armyan Bernstein, Laurie Zaks and Rob Bowman.
