Nathan Fillion was on the Kevin Pollak Chat Show this week and it was an amazing two hours spent discussing his entire career and getting little insights into his personal life (Just wait till you hear him talk about his cats! So how much more research do you think Richard Castle needs to do before he can write Nikki Heat on his own?
We actually addressed that in the show. He’s got enough research to write books for a long, long time. He’s not in it for the research anymore. We know this about him.

I know that was addressed early on, but that seems to be the game that’s still being played.
It’s not a strange theme in television to have characters who are flawed and need to grow, who need to evolve and admit something to themselves. And I think this is the case with Castle and Becket. They obviously want to be together, but they fail themselves constantly. And I think that’s what drives audiences. They want and they yearn, and yet these characters fail, so you want for them to be better, you want for them to grow, you want for them to be together. (more…)
